Project Gwenfrewi Wedding with Nath and Fi

Fi and Nath decided to have a Project Gwenfrewi Wedding in Gwytherin, near Llanrwst. Project Gwenfrewi is a new venue hosting many types of events from weddings to art displays and music concerts (read more about the venue HERE)

I first headed off to Clogaennog to meet with Fi at her and Nath's home. Fi was there with her mum, dad, her bridesmaid and Rhiannon, her makeup artist. The atmosphere was super chilled. A few stories were thrown back and forth and one of the highlights of the morning was when Fi got her dad to say Curly Wurly in his thick Scottish accent. Brilliant.

I then headed off to Project Gwenfrewi where Nath was already there with Roman, their dog (who I might add, as you will see, looked effin dapper in his bow tie!) While we had 10 minutes peace before the guests arrived, I managed to steal Nathan and get his photos.

Gwenfrewi has a very unique feel to it. It's an old decommissioned church, but the atmosphere is super chill. It was quite surreal, but the low fuss and simple ceremony suited Nath and Fi down to a tee. Fi had said to me very early on that she wanted a simple intimate wedding and Gwenfrewi really provided that!

After the ceremony, the guests were all packed onto a Routemaster bus and we headed over to Ruthin where we had an amazing meal at Manorhaus. Sticking to their non-traditional style, There was no "normal" (I bloody hate that word) table settings and it was more like a family gathering at a restaurant than it was an extravagant wedding breakfast. Just bloody lovely!

I loved every second of your day Nath and Fi, and you guys are so lucky to have such an amazing network of people around you.
