So how many hours have you spent in front of your screen bookmarking some of your favourite wedding venues in Wales?
I get it, it's overwhelming! I could name you 10-15 venues off the top of my head right now that are absolutely stunning. How are you going to narrow your selection down?
Here are our favourite wedding venues in Wales that will hopefully inspire you.
Llyn Gwynant Barns - Gwynedd

Llyn Gwynant Barns is an amazing venue nestled in one of the most picturesque valleys in the UK. Right at the foot of mount Snowdon, this venue is arguably one of the best venues for brides who like things a little more DIY. And not to mention there is absolutely no phone signal for miles around so there will be absolutely no distractions on your wedding day!

Chateau Rhianfa - Anglesey

I’ve had the pleasure of shooting many a time at the Chateau of the years as a wedding photographer, and everybody says the same thing. Exceptional service and their attention to detail is on point. And lets not mention the absolutely breathtaking architecture and those views over the Menai Straight. Hands down one of the best views of Snowdonia you will have ever seen in your life! The colours from sunset bouncing off the mountain tops are breathtaking.

Nant Gwrtheyrn - Penllyn

Nant Gwrtheyrn was a village that was abandoned in the 1970’s and was refurbished between 2007 and 2010. Since then it has become one of North Wales’ most sought after wedding venues. Mair and the team at Nant Gwrtheyrn are one of the best teams around. Exactly what you need in a fantastic wedding venue! I cannot wait to head there again this September to work with the magic of the venue!

The Wild Pheasant - Llangollen

The Wild Pheasant is a firm favourite. With easy access from North and Mid Wales, Shropshire, Midlands and the North West, It’s the absolute perfect venue if you have family traveling from all around. I had the pleasure of staying at the Pheasant a few years back for a friends wedding and it was unbelievable. Service is second to none and with Natalie helping you organise your wedding, you're in safe hands!
Portmeirion- Gwynedd

I cut my professional photography business teeth at Portmeirion. After I registered as a business in 2012, my first wedding was here. Over the years I have shot there numerous times and it always holds a special place for me. Every time I go there I find something new to shoot. Not only does it have acres and acres of ground to shoot in, every part is different. From the sandy beach on the estuary, to the Japanese garden in the hills. It's all just perfect and one thing is for certain, Delyth their planner is one of the best in the industry. She literally knows everything about everything! LOVE IT!
Bron Eifion - Gwynedd

So I would like to say I'm being a little biased when it comes to Bron Eifion, however that would be a lie. I am VERY biased when it comes to Bron Eifion. I got married there in 2017 so know exactly how amazing everything is first hand. The day couldn't have been any more perfect. Mary, our wedding coordinator, was more helpful than we ever could have imagined, the staff were unbelievably attentive and couldn't do enough for us and the food was top notch. Everything about here is just perfect.
Bron Eifion will always have an exceptionally close place to my heart and will be, most probably, my favourite venue to shoot at for the rest of my photography career!
So this concludes our favourite wedding venues in Wales. I hope this has given you a little bit of an insight to some of the amazing venues that we get to work in as wedding suppliers and (maybe) helped inspired you to pop over and take a look at some of these fantastic places!
Hope to speak to you soon!
Andrew
