Megan and Ryan's Nant Gwrtheyrn Wedding

So this was the first wedding of the year here at Andrew Cockerill Photography. Nant Gwrtheyrn was also a new venue for us! When Megan got in touch and asked me if I would be their wedding photographer, it was a complete no brainer.

Yes! I'll be there!

As Ryan can be a little nervous, Megan and Ryan opted for a relaxed day as they last thing they'd have wanted was to be stressed leading up to the day. Leading up to the day, Megan and her sister, Georgia, wanted to get as organised as possible. They started making their decorations a year in advance! By doing this it also helped them keep their costs down and made sure that they had exactly what they wanted! They stayed at Nant Gwrtheyrn for 3 days before the wedding allowing them to meet with their family and friends and ensure they had time with them before the wedding. They also decided to stay there the day after the wedding to reflect on the awesome day they had the day before. One of the biggest concerns Meg had was the weather. Last year over this time period, we had huge amounts of snow and Nant Gwrtheyrn suffered pretty badly. Thankfully this year it was a completely different story and the weather couldn't have been better! (Well... for January anyway)
