I'm a little late to the party but here it goes.
It is with a very heavy heart, that I am currently announcing that I am postponing all photoshoots for the foreseeable future. Portrait sessions will be on hold until the regulations on our current situation are relaxed and it safe to continue. My family's and your health is of paramount importance to me, so there is absolutely no way, will I be willing to put anybody's health at risk.
So what is the plan?
I am trying to do everything within my power to keep business running as normal as possible. Any meetings that that are scheduled will now be placed via Skype or Facetime. So if you're using this time we have away from work to plan your wedding, I can still meet up with you, we can have a coffee (apologies though, for now you'll have to make your own!) and we can still talk all things weddings! Print sales are still going ahead as normal, however, due to the current global situation, delivery of albums and prints may be subject to to a longer wait than normal.
As soon as it will be safe to do so, portrait sessions will be continued. The current outlook may be that this won't be until about June/July but this is something thats changing daily, so I will keep you all updated. Those who have outstanding gift vouchers, I will be adding another year onto the expiry date of the vouchers to give you plenty of time to overcome the current hardships and to make sure that your sessions are something that you will 100% enjoy!
If you are in need of rescheduling your wedding DO NOT PANIC!
I'm not taking any more bookings for 2020. This is is so many of my current dates are available for you to reschedule if needs be. If you are thinking of rescheduling, please, please get in touch as soon as possible. If you reschedule your wedding with the date that suits the venue and I'm unavailable then I cannot attend your wedding. HOWEVER, this is not the end of the world. I work with a close network of people who have a very similar shooting style to me. You will have a professional photographer at your wedding, the images will then be passed on to me and I will edit them in the style that you booked me for! But please, if you're worried about your date, get in touch and we can discuss things further.
Stay safe everyone!

We need to sit down and talk about the elephant in the room. The Coronavirus. If you’re like me, you’ve been keeping a close eye on the updates with regards to the latest pandemic that is sweeping the globe. These are unprecedented times and I cannot imagine the stress the current situation must be causing you. Of all the things you thought could go wrong on the run up to your wedding, this was likely not one of the things on your list.
I wanted to take a few minutes to try and offer some reassurance as the run up to your wedding approaches. So, below, you can read about the steps I am taking to protect myself and you as well as some things to consider moving forward.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Please be assured that I am doing everything within my power to keep myself in tip-top health. We have upped our hand washing game as a family, and I have hand gel with me for when hand washing facilities isn’t possible.
Being in the wedding industry for a number of years, I am fortunate enough to have made some strong friendships with some pretty epic photographers. We are a close community of like-minded individuals who all have each others backs, so, in the event of being hospitalised or having to self-isolate, I will make sure there is a suitable photographer at your wedding so you don’t have to worry about finding someone in such short notice. Once the day is over, I will get a copy of the original files off the photographer and I will be editing them in my natural style.
As of right now, I am completely fit and healthy and have every intention of attending your wedding. If there is any sign that I wouldn't be able to attend, the steps above will be immediately implemented.
All in person meetings that I have booked at the moment will be strongly encouraged to be done via Skype or Facetime. This will ensure that any risk of catching the virus and not being able to attend any weddings is greatly reduced. I will still be carrying out any engagement shoots and portrait sessions as normal until the govt. declare otherwise, however, these will be taking place in less populated areas and areas of high traffic.
What happens if I need to postpone my wedding?
I would recommend getting in touch with all your suppliers as soon as possible to see if postponing is the right idea. For the time being, I am reducing the amount of bookings I am taking to ensure I have some space for any of my existing clients who would like to reschedule to later on in the year. Also, as it stands, I have quite a bit of availability for 2021 in case the reschedule has to go into next year.
If your wedding is postponed and the rescheduled date is unavailable with us DON'T PANIC! A professional photographer of a similar shooting style will be sent in place and the original files will be passed on to me and I will edit them in my own natural style.
I know Things are extremely scary right now, but please try not to panic!
I know it's easy for me to sit here and say this but we've got this! Right now, everything is running as normal. You will get married, and it will be the best day of your lives. The most important thing to do now is try and keep as level headed as possible and keep in touch and if there's anything that I can do in the mean time, please, please, just let me know!
Diolch!
