A Ruthin Castle wedding is one that I've always wanted to do. Ruthin Castle is a medieval castle in the heart of the small village of Ruthin, about 20 miles from Chester. With it's grand architecture, amazing staff and barmy wedding guests. This wedding was going to be epic! Tash and Anth first got in touch with me after they'd booked their venue. I was super excited when they asked, as I've wanted to shoot there for years. I arrived at Ruthin Castle nice and early. Tash was having breakfast with her mum, so I headed up to the room where the bridesmaids were having their hair and makeup done. Meinir from Moncrieffe was doing her magic as always with the makeup and Claire Tanner was doing the hair. After a morning of laugh's and stories, we met at Ruthin Castle's ceremony room where Anth was waiting with his best man for Tash to arrive. The rest of the day took part in the various amazing rooms that Ruthin Castle has to offer and am so glad that the weather held up enough for us to head out and get some gorgeous shots of Tash and Anth around the grounds of the Castle. I cannot recommend this venue enough. It's absolutely gorgeous! From then on the day just got mental. So much fun. literally, every room I went into had people bawling with laughter (and lets not forget about the overly-competitive game of outdoor chess that was going on... hahaha!) I seriously love this type of wedding!
