Wedding Photos in Bron Eifion - Stephanie and Dan

Stephanie and Dan brought their closest family and friends along to Criccieth for their wedding and I had the pleasure of taking their wedding photos in Bron Eifion.

I know it sounds cliche saying it was an honour capturing the day for Stephanie and Dan, but I cannot explain how much shooting this wedding meant to me. I have known Stephanie since she was knee high to an ant as her mam, Bridget used to cut my hair when I was growing up (back when I had some hair to cut at least!) so getting to shoot this one was super special!

Relaxed Wedding

When Stephanie got in touch, she said they knew exactly what they wanted. A relaxed wedding where they can soak up as much of the day as possible and wanted a photographer who wouldn't constantly take them away from their guests just to take photos. They were clear they wanted some time to go down to Criccieth Castle to have some photos where we did their engagement session and maybe a few wedding photos in Bron Eifion and that was pretty much it.

First Look

This was the first time in my 14 years shooting weddings I got the opportunity to capture a first look. Stephanie and Dan had asked their guests to stay clear of Bron Eifion for about an hour so they could have this moment together and it was perfect. My only wish for weddings is that this becomes a standard here in the UK. It was honestly, so special to be a part of it.
